The simplest solution/explanation is usually the correct one.
This has a term called Ocham’s Razor.
I’m nominating a new term.
It’s “Bird O’Donnell”.
See, it needs to fit the concept of simplicity.
Occam’s Razor is so convoluted as to appear to be the exact opposite. Ockham is not a person. It was a place the philosopher William (Franciscan priest 1285 – 1347) hailed from.
The Razor refers to the cutting away until you arrive at a conclusion.
Bird O’Donnell is the character in ‘The Field’ (1990) played by John Hurt. In one scene he says “The American is not coming because he’s not coming”.
That’s as simple as it gets!
